Butterfly Valves
Introduction
The type VFA butterfy valves are "wafer"
fangeless type and typically used in gas
reducing stations for an on-off service.
The VFA butterfy valves, due to their par-
ticular construction features, have very
low pressure losses and excellent seal.
This series of butterfy valves is designed
basically for natural gas transmission or
distribution grids, and for commercial
and industrial applications.
Their reduced overall dimensions allow
simple installation and easy mainte-
nance.
The VFA Series are in conformity with the
Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/
EC and are classifed under Category III
maximum.
