Is Your Data Up-To-Date?

The normal ebb and flow of a maintenance organization’s workload can be overwhelming. In a hostile, reactive environment, sometimes the priority to complete unscheduled maintenance supersedes the paperwork involved in tracking the changes within the CMMS. Our data can become outdated and inaccurate very quickly unless the changes are tracked with the proper paperwork and the correct step within the maintenance workflow. If changes are happening on the production floor, your CMMS should accurately reflect those changes. On the other hand, if the data is not maintained, it can cause planning delays, scheduling issues, incorrect parts procurement, and even process related incidences.
