Explore Reliability as a Business Strategy

Every year companies face the multiple challenges of government compliance; technology fast-paced changes; staff turnover and shortages, among other concerns. A reliability focused strategy becomes a key element to overcome these situations with minimum losses in profit and productive time. In this spirit, Emerson and Solomon Associates are proud to present A Summit to Explore Reliability as a Business Strategy, to be held on March 12th 2015 in Houston, Texas.

This event will feature current discussions led by industry experts and a collaboration environment of ideas towards the common goal of improving asset reliability and overall productivity. Solomon Associates will discuss the use of “Reliability Improvements through Benchmarking” to increase loyalty and engagement from customers and employees. There will also be a discussion in preparation for API-691 Risk Based Machinery Management Standard, which is expected to be a major aspect in equipment reliability and the way it is perceived by companies.

Save the date for this Summit and don’t miss the opportunity to join the Reliability community in the pursuit for best practices that produce a profitable, compliant business. For more details and agenda of the event review this flyer.

RCM & DMAIC Improvement Process to eliminate costly CAPEX Improvement

When equipment failure becomes a frequent obstacle for a company, capital replacement seems like the easiest option to get rid of the whole problem. However, it may be not only a very expensive solution but one that doesn’t guarantee to get to the root cause of the problem. This case explains how a problematic finishing process could be addressed without the need for a CAPEX project.
