Damcos KC is a linear double-acting actuator with highly reliable performance and compact robust design. The Damcos KC comes with a direct position indicator and presents no external moving parts during operation.
Additional level of reliability and safety for LNG carrier applications is ensured with the patented Damcos ESD Control Block System (consisting of Constant Flow valve, Pressure Reduction and Emergency Shut Down Block).
The actuator is placed on an Extended Bonnet in order to perform and control the valve opening and closing, due to the extreme temperature of the cryogenic valve (-160°C).
