Valve Actuation

The I/O Cabinet contains electronics and wire terminals for input signals as well as control signals. The I/O cabinet sends signals between the Valve Remote Control System and the Integrated Control and Monitoring System via Ethernet and PD modules. The power supply is typically redundant with battery backup to ensure continuously collection of I/O e.g. in black out emergencies.
