Type VS100
Slam-Shut Valves
Introduction
The type VS100 slam-shut is designed
to shut off the flow of gas to the
downstream system in the event of
outlet pressure rising above or falling
below the predefined levels.
The type VS100 consists of a body with a
removable orifice, enclosed by a bonnet,
and a type VSX4 slam-shut device.
The type VS100 is in conformity with the
Pressure Equipment Directive
PED 97/23/EC and is classified under
Category IV.
